well organised, housed in the 'Official Album for United States Bureau Pre-cancels'

examples from New Orleans and Springfield and then a state by state ordered collection,
everything in nice condition, Alabama through to Wyoming, even playing card pre-cancels
'back of the book' as well, 1926 - 1929. Some pages are well filled, others not
so, nevertheless there are thousands of stamps here all different. The condition

UNITED STATES COLLECTION. "An interesting album, Scott National,
mint and used sporadically filled up with lots of interesting material, very much
in mixed condition covering the gamut of grades! It is also somewhat disorganized,
despite the Scott album presentation. The collection starts off with some locals,
followed by telegraph stamps. Confederate States with large 4 margined 10cts rose
with blue cancel (small faults) and various other issues inc. 1863 2cts, as well
as 10cts on cover single usage within the Confederacy. General issues being with
a couple imperfs - low values, 1857 to 12cts, cut perfs, Banil Notes to 90cts. Columbians
unused but in very mixed condition with values to 8cts, followed by the next page
of used to 15cts, again mixed. 1894s to 50cts, Omahas in 4cts and 8cts, useful turn
of the century with intermediate values, followed by Washington/Franklin heads to
$2. Fairly comprehensive thereafter. Airmails sporadic, followed by this officials,
starting off with Agriculture with 3cts unused and 6cts used, Interior with 2cts,
3cts and 90cts Perry, Department of Justice with 1, 2, 3, 10 and 12cts unused, i.e.
#O25, #O26, #O27, #O29 (straight edge) and #O30 (thinned) and #O31, 15cts used.
Then the Navy Department with #O36, #37, #O41 and #O43 used and #O38 and #O42 -
the 6cts and 15cts unused, Post Office Department with 12cts and 90cts unused, State
Department with #O62 unused, Treasury with #O73, #O74, #O77 and #O78 used, War Department
with various values mixed to 30cts and apparent soft porous papers inc. #O114, #O116
and #O119 used. Further 'back of the book' with newspapers with a few 1894s, followed
by #PR114 to #PR122 mint and an interesting #PR124 used, some cut squares and then
the revenue section begins with several dozen, all different, of the 1862/1871 perforated
issues through to $3 with most spaces filled. Also, some of the other issue revenues,
leading onto turn of the century and much more to research inc. Private Propriety
etc. Please inspect."
