Formed by Dr. Frank Cowan, who was the specialist in the field and wrote an article about it in the Nov. 1953 Collector's Club Philatelist and spoke about them at the Club at the same time. The collection is beautifully presented in an Elbe album with his full exhibition style descriptions. It begins with the stamps in their basic and overprinted forms (Form I - Form XIV) with overprint varieties incl. "FOUB PIES" (pos. 10L) in used strip of three -- both Form III and IV, two used singles with "HALF NANA" (pos. 11L), "HALF AANA" (pos. 49R) in used vertical pair, then there are a few overprint printing freaks and errors. The second section is of perforation varieties incl.
