1375BRITISH COMMONWEALTH COLLECTION. "A 16 volume collection, with strength in KGVI & QEII issues. Includes Hong Kong with most of the value from KGVI onwards inc. Centenary and UPU mint, lots of commemorative series QEII, etc. Malaysia, with modern from 1963 onwards, again virtually everything in complete series as well as earlier UPUs for all the states. Then one volume devoted specifically to Singapore, well represented with issues inc. exploded booklet panes and their covers, miniature sheets and virtually all the commemorative series from the 1970s through to the mid 1990s mint, very well filled overall. British Europe with good QEII and occasional KGV/KGVI representation, Gibraltar 1931/33 definitives, 1935 Jubilees complete, UPUs, 1960 definitives to the £1 complete, Malta with dozens of individual series, etc. British Africa housed in two Scott volumes with better material inc. Nyassland KGV 1934 complete, 1935 Silver Jubilees, first QEII to £1, second series also complete, etc. These are all housed in Scott Specialtys and are in seven volumes. Then follows Ireland housed in two albums on quadrille pages, again mint and used, St. Pats to 10/-, used, followed by Emmets, An Tostal, Newman, Barry, etc. all mint series complete through to much modern. A similar patter with GB QEII, again housed in two albums on quadrille pages, with most modern series present, inc. Coronation, Europa, GLO, some of the better phosphors, also seen Silver Wedding £1 KGVI mint, better QEII definitives inc. graphites. Then Australia housed in two volumes, with some unusual highlights including the 'Arms' Specimen o/ps complete to £2. Also some better FDCs seen here as well as a block of 25 of the better Christmas '71, used. Another volume devoted to Brunei with main issues sparse from 1947 onwards, i.e. to $5 and the 1952 to $10 mint thru to various other commemorative series. Another interesting area is the Abu Dhabi, with the 1964 oil wells complete to 10rs and many of the better commemorative series from the 1960s and 70s. The final volume - there are 16 all in all is Nepal which is of course is border line BC, nevertheless this is a useful collection virtually complete from 1957 onwards as well as occasional earlies and back of the book.
