The collection starts off with fifteen of the Argentine Confederation 'sun' issues of 1858 inc. 15cts blue used (#3) and 15cts dark blue mint (#3a, signed), followed by 1862 'seal' issues of the Republic with about 17 present including varieties and forgeries categorised, then the 'Rivadavias' with well over a dozen mostly sound copies including two of the 15cts blue (#13) used, one signed. "Between 1500 and 2000 stamps, written up on quadrille pages in three old fashioned albums, from the imperfs onwards with most of the material from the 19th century, as well as occasional postal history, showing the zenith of the Empire illustrated both in the postmarks and with detailed hand-drawn maps. The collection starts off with fifteen of the Argentine Confederation 'sun' issues of 1858 inc. 15cts blue used (#3) and 15cts dark blue mint (#3a, signed), followed by 1862 'seal' issues of the Republic with about 17 present including varieties and forgeries categorised, then the 'Rivadavias' with well over a dozen mostly sound copies including two of the 15cts blue (#13) used, one signed. "Between 1500 and 2000 stamps, written up on quadrille pages in three old fashioned albums, from the imperfs onwards with most of the material from the 19th century, as well as occasional postal history, showing the zenith of the Empire illustrated both in the postmarks and with detailed hand-drawn maps.
