1535#15 Var., 8c on 50c Bister brown, "Panama" 15mm long, a stunning mint example of this exceedingly rare variety, which only comes from four positions on the pane, boasting an extraordinary overall freshness few other copies enjoy, plus it is almost perfectly centered amid uncharacteristicaly large and well balanced margins, full fresh original gum which is not in the least disturbed from interleaving as it is on most other examples, lightly hinged, an Extremely Fine gem; > a superior example among the mere 30 stamps issued may be impossible to locate; 1997 and 2006 P.F. certificates (CZSG 15.2b).
