U.S. Mexican Mustang Liniment Label Specimen. 1853, (ca.1906). $1 Rare and attractive medicine label with large size "1853" silver dollar front and back flanking allegorical woman pouring water with wild horses running underneath. 0094 New York. U.S. Moffat's Vegetable Life Pills Specimen Labels (3). 1850,1860's. 2 different types of Medical labels. 1). Large format with vignette of Moffat. 2). Vertical pair of small format labels. Both have micro printing of copyright and designer information. RWH&E engraved and registered this label in 1850. ABNC evidently altered the plate of the larger label slightly in the 1860's and put their "ABC" imprint in scrip italics on the lower left. Rare philatelic Match & Medicine related label. Scarce. Rare early Postal Savings Certificate printed by ABNC. Black border with red undertint. Red specimen overprints, POC's and "00000" serial numbers. Blank counterfoil tab on left is perforated so that note could be mounted in booklet and pulled out. Back has yearly dates up to 10 years and amount of accrued interest.
