Portrait of Theodore Herzl. Text of bond states "This instrument records a Sacrifice in the sum of $1000 in accordance with the ancient principal of Maaser. This instrument is made for the Jewish People. To the investor it will yield no return in money. Its returns will be the conciousness of duty performed. It will provide a home for the homeless Jew. It will create a fount of the Jewish spirit. It will realize the prayer of centuries, the hope of millions.
