He was born in Birmingham, England in 1828 and died in Brooklyn in 1895. When he first came to this country, he started working for RWH&E from 1854 to 1859. He then worked for ABNC after this. In 1878 he was the Superintendent of the Engraving Division for Continental BNC. In 1880 and 1881 he engraved independently. 1). Peter Hall & Co.
