Issued in Beirut, Lebanon. Dated by hand on left, May 22, 1942. From Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Archives. Text of bond states "Bon pour la sommes de Livres Libanaises....remboursable au Siege de Beyrouth au porteur a presentation en cheque sur, Paris a raison de vingt franc par Livre". This bond or circulating bond was issued by the Lebanon (Liban) branch of this bank and payable in Paris at 5 Francs to the Livre. POC. Starting serial number is 25,001 and ending serial number is 37,500 which is how BWC numbers their specimens, with the first and last numbers. Choice uncirculated condition.
