089519th Century U.S. Postal History Assortment, A small assortment of ten early covers, including four adhesive usages and six stampless covers, the adhesive usages including #11 tied on cover from Springfield, Mass to Hartford, CT; #65 tied on cover from Dansville, NY addressed to John Hasler of the "1st Va Artillery Light Battery" in Yorktown, VA; #98 tied on cover to Paris; and #114 tied on cover from Athol, Mass to Ohio; the stampless covers being folded letters spanning from 1809 to 1863 including some interesting reading, an overall Fine to Very Fine grouping. 0896Official 1907 Jamestown Exposition Postcards Collection, an exceptional run consisting of 159 unused postcards, published by concession holder Jamestown Amusement & Vending Co., Inc., Norfolk Virginia, each individually protected in its own protective plastic pocket. Known as the "A and V Series", printed by the American Colortype Co., N.Y., the collection is a complete numbered run through #162 as published, including #'s 1A and 46½ (missing only #'s 70 & 143-46 which were not published), each card's official back includes the Expo Seal, the card number, and a brief description of the subject pictured on the front, each card, with few exceptions, being a color reproduction of either a painting, a drawing, or a photographic view, each framed in a white border, an especially clean and fresh collection well suited for Expo connoisseurs and aficionados, Very Fine to Extremely Fine.
